At a glance
On our website kommunikationstrainer.ai and in the related web application, we use technically necessary cookies and browser storage. In addition, there is only an empty browser database without any function (PresentationDB, see overview). We do not use any analytics, tracking or marketing tools, and no third-party cookies are set. Technically necessary cookies and storage do not require your consent.
What are cookies and browser storage?
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device. Websites also use other browser storage areas: localStorage keeps entries until they are deleted; sessionStorage keeps them only until you close the browser tab. IndexedDB is a database built into the browser. Legally, these technologies are treated the same way, because in each case information is stored on or read from your device.
Legal basis
We only store information on your device or access it where this is strictly necessary to provide the service you have explicitly requested – for example logging in, your settings or saving your cookie choice. The legal basis is Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG); your consent is not required for this. The only exception is the empty database PresentationDB, which contains no data and has no function (see overview).
Where personal data is processed in this context (e.g. the login token of your user account), we explain this processing, the legal bases under the GDPR and your rights in our Privacy Policy.

The following list is complete. With the exception of the empty database PresentationDB, all entries are technically necessary. All entries are set only by us (no third-party cookies).

Cookie notice
On your first visit we show you a notice about the use of technically necessary cookies. As we do not use any services that require consent, there are no selectable categories. When you click "Got it", we store in the cookie ibki_consent that you have seen the notice. A choice you made earlier in the cookie banner may still be stored there, but it no longer has any effect. Should we use services that require consent in the future, we will update this policy beforehand and obtain your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG.
No analytics, tracking or marketing tools
We do not use any analytics, tracking, advertising or marketing tools. Fonts and the PDF viewer are loaded from our own servers, so your browser does not connect to any third-party providers when you visit our pages.
Note on Microsoft Clarity
Until 23 September 2026 we used the web analytics service Microsoft Clarity – only with your consent. Since 23 September 2026 this service has been disabled: the Clarity script is no longer loaded and no Clarity cookies are set. If cookies from that time are still stored in your browser (e.g. _clck, _clsk), you can delete them in your browser settings.
Real-time connections (WebSocket)
For live features, the application opens WebSocket connections to our servers: live transcription during presentation recordings and dictation, conversations in the dialog trainer and messages in the chat. WebSocket connections are not cookies and do not store any information on your device. They end when you leave the respective feature or the application.
Managing cookies and storage yourself
You can view and delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings (usually under "Privacy" or "Cookies and site data"). If you delete or block technically necessary entries, you will be logged out, your settings will be lost and some features – in particular logging in – will no longer be available.
When you log out, we automatically delete the login token and the stored colour theme of your organisation from your browser.
